01 / THE CHALLENGE
A developer had one infill lot zoned for two units, and site-built duplexes in East Austin were slow, costly, and inconsistent. They needed two matched homes on a schedule tight enough to protect their financing.
02 / THE APPROACH
We adapted The Meridian into a repeatable two-unit spec, built to the same standard in the factory. Going off-site sidestepped the headaches of a tight urban lot and kept both units identical in quality.
03 / THE RESULT
Both units were delivered from one consistent spec and completed in 22 weeks — predictable enough to keep the project's numbers intact. The developer got a repeatable model they could take to the next lot, not a one-off they'd have to reinvent.
