How long does a modular home actually take?

The short version: most modular homes are move-in ready in 12 to 18 weeks. The longer version is more interesting, because the reason modular is faster isn't that anyone works harder — it's that two timelines run at once.

On a traditional build, work happens in sequence: clear the site, pour the foundation, frame, weatherproof, then everything inside. Each step waits on the one before it, and weather can stall any of them. Modular runs the home and the site in parallel. While your modules are being built in our factory — framed, wired, plumbed, and finished indoors — your foundation and utilities are prepared on your lot at the same time.

When the modules are ready, they're delivered and set, often in a single crane day. What's left is final connections and finishing. The build doesn't skip steps; it just stops waiting on weather and sequence. That's where the weeks come from.
